White with black stripes.

A zebra wondered whether it was white with black stripes, or black with white stripes, so he asked his owner, “Am I white with black stripes, or black with white stripes?” and the owner replied “Well I don’t know. You’ll have to live your life and ask the Lord when you get there.” to which the zebra said “Oh fine.”
So he lives and lives and lives, and finally he dies.
When he gets to heaven he askes an angel where he could find God. He asked “Why?” and the zebra said, “Well I want to know if I’m black with white stripes, or white with black stripes.” and the angel said “Ok, that’s a good question, he’s right over there.” pointing to a building. The zebra went into the building and said “Uh, God, sir, can I ask you a question? Well I’ve wanted to know for a while, am I white with black strpes, or black with white stipes?” to whick God said “You are what you are.”
The zebra left, confused, and as he left, the angel asked “Well what did he say?” and the zebra said “You are what you are…” and the angel said “Oh, you’re white with black stripes.” and the zebra asked “How do you get that?” to which the angel said “Well if you black with white stripes, he would have said “You is what you is.”
